The list would be almost endless, but mainly,

Tanks
Armoured Cars
Troop Carriers
Rifles
Grenade Launchers
Flame Throwers
Radio
GPS Navigation Systems
Radar
Satellite Trackers
Aircraft
Missiles
Bomb Aimers
Computers
Warships
Auxiliary Ships
Power Generators
Air Conditioners
Sound Generators

Try having at look at the "Janes" series of books on fighting vehicles, warplanes, ships, etc

SHeesh can you think of any question more vague and open ended?

there are literally millions of different types of weapons that have been used in war.
how about narrowing down your question just a tad.
Are you asking about every weapon ever? from the rock and tree branch of the prehistoric man to the modern nuclear weapon?
or are you asking only about current active weapons?

Are you asking about every make and model or just categories of weapons

you also ask what MACHINES. not just what WEAPONS
so are you asking about the cars, typewriters, radios, printing press, etc... that were used during the wars? the computers, the telexes? the scanner/copiers?

What is it about people asking vague questions?
I saw one the other day that simply said
"World War 2?"
and no further information than that!

I'm getting a tad bit fed up with idiots who think we must be psychic and should know what they are asking about.

Actually nearly every thing, machine and other wise has been used in war at one time or another.

War is the proving ground for most technology.

Computers, airplanes, steam engines, Nuclear power, Modern electronics and medicines. they all got there founding or their improvements and acceptance in to modern society from the forge of War.

Plastics, synthetic materials, light weight polymers were all created or improved to fill a military need.

So to answer you question... Every machine has been used in war or for war.

You have to be specific, each war , each conflict has its new inventions & machines that the confronting armies would bring out to their most advantages to end the war, the list is endless to name the few : from Alexandar the Great with its pikes or Archichcourt with its long bows for King Henry V ,to the Tomahawk cruise missile in Iragi war,
You have to name the war and year to list out the machines or equipment ; U.S. Civil War ? First World War ? 2nd World War ? Korean War? Vietnam War ? each war has its new inventions, you just cannot just simply sum up all equipment to represent them in any modern era for comparision.

Don't forget the early machines of war. Such as the catapult, balista and trembuchet. They were machines as well.

The telegraph.

Not kidding here. An American General used it in conjunction with an Iron Horse.

Now, it's lost its wires, but it's still the key to destroying an enemy.
