Always the kid. Kids come before adults. Also, the kid is your flesh and blood and you are the reason they are on earth. It is your responsibility to protect your kids.

CPR is more effective on children. Their organs are less diseased and so can be started easier than an adults.

In reality there are other more important factors in making the choice of who to save first. Usually the answer is save the one who is likely to die first, and this depends on ability to float, ability to follow instructions, distance from safety, help you have available, aids you have.

Remember if you are on a boat wear a lifejacket.

Save the kids. Then jump in with your wife cause you're a fool for not making them wear life jackets.

The child. Just because you can't swim doesn't mean you can't keep yourself afloat until the kid gets in the boat then you can get the other. What in Gods name are you doing out in a boat if you can't swim with a child. idiots.

I would save my child first. While they both could not swim I would give my husband a better chance of saving himself or surviving until I could help him.

I would save you first, you need more love, then I will save the child, since I can save both of them...
now if i could only save just one life, then that's another question.

the child first because the adult has a better chance than the child of surviving the water without help.

This is one of the questions you wait to see what someone else is going to say first... as much as I love my husband.. and I do with all my heart... I'd have to say my child though.
