How do i deal with a very insensitive person. they are always starting fights and its hard to deal with them when i have to babysit because he fights with me alot and refuses to do what i say. he is very arrogent and thinks he is right all the time. when i joke around or tell him he needs to do something he gets really rude when i tell him he needs to do something even if its just a little thing. Can you give me advice please?

hes not a kid, hes a preteen he says really mean stuff and bribery is not a good way to do anything

Sweetie, is this a babysitting job you have to keep? If not, well, you know what I'm getting at. If you have to keep it, it is time to talk with this boy's parents. Explain the problems you are having, I am sure they will happily work with you to resolve this. Just be sure to approach it with sensitivity. It's hard for a parent to hear critisism of their child.
Try starting with: I was wondering if you could help me. I am having a difficult time getting (insert monster's name here) to be cooperative and respectful. Whenever I tell him he needs to do something, he becomes defiant and verbally abusive, and I am at a loss for how to deal with him.

I'm not sure if you are talking about a kid or a teenager or an adult but whatever he or she is the best way is to first find out exactly where these feelings are coming from to begin with. is there something that you have done that he need you to ask forgiveness for or have you said something to offend him or her?
once you answer these questions, maybe you can figure out from there what it is that you have to do.
