Maybe a little. If you fell for her personality and then turn around and want nothing to do with her cause she doesn't look like the hot babe you were expecting than some guilt is called for. After all, you are probably playing into her biggest fear, that although she is a great person, no men are willing to get past what she looks like on the outside.
But hey, it's your life. Feel a little guilty and then find someone who rocks your world! There isn't much you can do about not feeling attracted to the way someone looks..ya know? Besides, though she probably doesn't look at it that way, she doesn't want to be dating a guy who is looking at all the other girls in the room but her! Good Luck!

Well 1st of all how can you fall in love with someone without seeing them especially over the net? People lie and are going to tell you exactly what you want to hear. They are probably lonely and like the attention. Don't feel guilty. It was false pretenses but I hope you learned a lesson.

My advise is to give her a chance if u hv liked talking to her. I know u r very disappointed, perhaps u even feel angry. But, if u like her somewhat, what's wrong in being friends, and eventually meeting, if the feeling is mutual? U never know where it will take you. Plus, people can look very different in pictures, and different in person.
PS: I am on the fence with the fact that she mislead u. Either she was just being extremely careful online to defend herself against the bad guys, or....it's in her nature to play games like this. U will know only when u know her better. Dont jump to conclusions just yet.

I would say I agree she was mis leading but it goes back to the old sayin dont judge a book by its cover. I'ts possible she wanted you to get to know the real her and not judge her by her looks. I guess the question is if you stop talking to her are you gonna miss her set the looks a side are you gonna miss her companionship. good luck

first of all,when u met her,she showed u her pics ,right?coz of couese thats how u can say she was "incredibly beautiful"
well u shudnt feel quilty about it ...after all she lied to u...IF u arent talking to her for some reason other then her looks!
if u dont want to talk to her anymore coz shes not the hottie u imagined,u shud seriously change ur thinking!

the guy should feel a bit mislead for her being dishonest with you. but honestly, it makes the guy sound very shallow to have fallen in love with a girl who has a great personality and then just because she's not drop dead gorgeous he doesn't want to talk to her anymore.
