On average, the moon rises about 50 minutes later each night. It is not on the 24-hour day schedule that Earth is on, but closer to 25 hours. So when you see the moon, it can be in different places on different days. This is why we see the moon in the daylight hourse sometimes.

Have you ever been outside of a building and looked up into the sky at night? I think you need to figure this one out on your own. Does your mother or daddy usually do your homework for you?Look at the clock, then go outside and see where the moon is, come inside, write it down, then at the same time tomorow, go look again. But if you can't figure out how to do that check out www.sunrisesunset.com , click on the part about the moon.
