I thought that Harry would defeat Voldemort because he has his mother's blood in him which Voldemort doesn't understand (old magic which he never bothered to learn about/study, thus doesn't know how to fight it)....but then I realized that Voldemort could have some of Harry's blood (with Lilly's blood) sort of in him because the concoction that Wormtail prepared in the graveyard scene of "Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire" had Harry's blood in it. And when Wormtail poured Harry's blood into the cauldron, the liquid turned a blinding white, showing the purity of the love Lilly gave. Does this mean that Harry's blood is IN Voldemort? So much of the book deals with blood, whether Lilly's love in Harry's blood, or being "pure blood" or "mud blood". Does this make sense? This is one of my rambling thoughts, what do you think?

I meant to add: I used to think that Harry would defeat Voldemort in Book 7 using something along this love-blood idea, but now I'm not sure. Now I'm thinking that the horcruxes will play a more prominent role.

I agree. I don't know if that's how Harry will defeat Voldy, but I certainly believe it will play a part. I think Harry's blood with adversely affect Voldy so that Harry has the advantage.
It's the same situation as the wands. Harry and Voldy share the same blood running through their veins just like their wands share the same core: Fawkes' feather. And we know from their past interactions (CoS and GoF) that Fawkes always helps Harry... just hearing the phoenix sing comforts and encourages Harry whereas Voldy feels threatened.
Voldy thought he was getting stronger by taking Harry's blood... and it's true that he can touch Harry now, but big deal... is Voldy really going to try to kill harry with his hands? no. he's going to try to use his wand. And the wand and his blood are going to betray him.
I'm very pleased to see someone gave a thumbs up to the answer about Harry being a horcrux. I believe that is true too, but the people on the board where I post messages yell at me and think i'm stupid and give me thumbs downs. I think the evidence overwhelmingly points in the direction that Harry is a horcrux. He knows what Voldy thinks and feels and dreams... and he was inside the snake (another of Voldy's horcruxes)... Voldy's horcruxes are like a wireless network... Voldy can travel between them. Voldy possessed the snake in the ministry before christmas and possessed Harry at the end of OotP. And the reason that Harry was able to be in the snake in the ministry before christmas is because the horcruxes are all connected to every other (so Harry might have an easier time trying to find them in DH).
ahh, a thumbs down vote... i feel at home on this board now

First Load voldemort forgot about the love thingy, he didn't never learn it. Second Yes Lord Voldemort has now some of harry Potters blood in him. That leaves Harry unprotected. And since Dumbledore is completely dead, no butts about it, their is no way he could have survived, because J. K. Rowling confessed to an Thatre full of fans that Dumbledore is dead, then that means Harry will yes have to fight for his life to survive. Sorry for the bad news, but think of it this way, at least the Seventh book will be much more intertaining.

When Harry told Dumbledore about this, Dumbledore had a strange look. So I think this will play a significant role. I still don't know what exactly, but like their wands connected, in the previous dueal, something unexpected will also happen in book 7.

Would you rather? Speak Parsel Toungue or Be a WereWolf? Werewolf. Do you want Harry Potter to die? Assuming this was before DH...then no, because then the series would end. And I was his son in the RP way back when. Who do you think is the greatest student to ever go to Hogwarts? Dumbledore. Cedric or Harry? Harry Lord Voldemort or Bellatrix? Bellatrix Favorite Death Eater? Bellatrix Dobby or Kreacher? Dobby Ginny or Hermione? Hermione Favorite Spell? The Imperius Curse. I know, Unforgivable, Azkaban, all that. But admit it: controlling people would be so freaking cool. Favorite character? I must say, Draco Malfoy is pretty darn badass. Saddest death in all books? Not really sure...they were all equally sad.

HATE to make you cry, but YES harry is now a part of Voldemort. The sad part is, I think, that Harry will have to die to defeat him. Kill Harry, kill Voldemort's life force. V dies.

I think that that is just a totally random ramble and I hardly caught it.
I also think that Harry did not defeat Voldemort though I have no reason as to think that. I just do.

i think that harry is one of voldermort's horocrux. think about it, if he killed seven times, there would be eight horocruxes not seven. you know, divide your soul one, there are two pieces, divide two times, three pieces etc. it would make sense because voldermort killed lily, and that would be enough to make harry a horocrux. that would explain why his powers suddenly disappeared because he turned weak from splitting his soul. it would also explain why harry is a parseltongue. it would make sense because the soul of a parseltongue sits inside him. get my point?
what you give me a thumbs down for? its only my opinion. oh well. thanks for welcoming me to your family at yahoo answers.
