Google bought YouTube for $1.65 billion and they now control it completely. So I was just wondering why they still keep the name YouTube and dont turn it into like Google video share or something.

Because then google videos would make it sound dull...Studies show that half the people might not know that google bought the site so they might think it like ended...

People already know the name and where to go, plus we don't know if it was in the buyout that they keep the name so the creators still recieve royalties off the name.

becuase u cant just change stuff when it has a reputation they keep it like that cuz they still want people to go there its like myspace they aquired myspace and it still has the same name cuz if doesnt then people wouldnt go there anymore and would get confused
