Because when women marry they see this perfect guy worth to marry, he is romantic, responsible...etc. But when they are already married she eventually gets to know her husband that's why she wants to change his husbands habits to be the perfect man for her and since the husband do not listen to it quoting that you aren't the same man i married means you aren't the same man I thought I had married. Get it?

Depends on how many times in the past he promised to change and never did... When a couple are together for a long period and promises are broken, over and over again, it would be hard to trust the husband and believe that he has really changed, even with counseling. Because in the back of the wifes head, she'd also be thinking, is he (the husband) going to get "too" comfortable again and start up his old habits..

Well sometimes they need to change, but you can't raise a grown person twice. A woman wants to mold a man the way she likes. Eventually he would learn the do's and dont's, But changing a person want happen unless they want it to.

She tries to earn your interest .Hey you should give some part of your time to your wife and have fun with her. That will probably solve your problem . If you make happy her so she will not complain anymore.
