Because they are trying to trap a man/boy into getting them pregnant. If you ask me that is a sad, pathetic way of getting pregnant.

I guess that some of them may actually want to get pregnant. Some may feel they aren't going to get pregnant and just figure the chances are good they wont. Some may hate condoms like some men do and also do not care for taking a pill every day that can cause them a health risk over time. That is all I can come up with. I think it is better to just be truthful, but really just use condoms all the way around whether someone says they are on the pill or not.

That sounds like a generalization. Not all women are like that....but I'm guessing those that are want a child and think that if they have a child that man will stay, or it will change a man,. Who knows. I have never lied about it and when I did get off bc it was because we wanted children. Not all women are like this, but it's either they want a child or want to trap the man into staying....which of course usually never works. Also, you should use condoms and buy them and put them on yourself. If a women lies about birth control who's to say the wouldn't poke small holes into the condom.

Why do you ASSume women lie about being on birth control? Besides what is wrong with YOU using a condom? YOU are responsible for your own protection...not the woman.

Not all women lie about it and the women that do are just stupid.I know chicks who have done that turned out the joke was on them.They were at home with their babys while the man was out doing whoever whenever he wanted.So you tell me whos stupid?

To trap the men. I know a few women who have gotten frustrated with men who wouldn't marry them, so they went off birth control without telling them.
Now they are all in unhappy marriages with kids.

This is so low. I hate when chicks think that if they get knocked up they can keep the guy. It may of worked like that back in the day of shot gun weddings but not anymore.
To get married, or child support, or just a baby.

Who knows, lies are usually told for some reason whether it is a good reason or not. It would ultimately depend on the individual person and your relationship with them.
If they deny it and they are:
They may not want you to assume they are a S L U T.
They may not want you to try to have sex with them.
They may not want word to get around that they are using it.
They may be trying to convince you that they are innocent.
If they claim it and they aren't:
They may want to have sex with you.
They may be trying to get pregnant for any number of reasons.
They may want to trap you with a baby.
They may be trying to come off like a bad girl, not so innocent.
The best protection for yourself is to ONLY have sex with people you have known long enough that you know they are honest with you. If you wait a while, the dishonest horny trapping kind of girls will usually get weeded out...because in matters of honesty, a lot of times people lie because it is easier for them to get what they want...a form of laziness and a desire for instant gratification. They won't wait around for you to have sex with them. They are on some sort of mission. Plus it shows a lot of respect for her on YOUR part.
And then use a condom if YOU don't want her pregnant.

i personally think that they want a baby, badly...but are afraid thier man wont be happy about it...men have to talk to thier girlfriends/wifes better also...it happened to me..and im still with her...she was afraid to tell me how badly she wanted a baby because she didnt want me to leave her because she thought i wouldnt wanna be stuck with her...but it wasnt true...i love her with all of my heart..woman just need to talk with her boyfriend/hubby and tell the trut on what she wants...if the guy is a jerk about..she shouldnt waste her time..if he explains why/ or why he doesnt want it..than she should really listen to him also..some people arent ready..some people are...men gotta understand that if a girl does this..than he really isnt doin his job in the relationship...Fortunatly before she got pregnant she told me she stopped taking birth control so she could..we talked for hours..i told her i loved her and would have a baby with her..
IF the guy doesnt love the girl..if she has gotta trip on him and want a kid just to stay with him...than she really needs to see a councler because it doesnt work that way...if people ar ein love..they are in love..if they arent..than they arent..a baby wont fix a relationship but cause problems...the girl/guy need to think about what that child would be goin through witha deadbeat dad/ mom...men need to talk with thier other hal alot better, be truthfull..the whole nine yards..and woman need to do the same

So they can get pregnant and blame the guy. That way the can have a baby and try to have the guy pay for it.
