it only plays on the itunes library and it sounds fine but it just skips it

just make sure the song is in the itunes format- otherwise it will transfer over, and it will show in your library as if it is on the ipod, but it wont play. you have to sync the ipod with your computer and it will automatically convert the music file to the right type.

from my experience with my ipod i have either ripped Cds or bought music off itunes.

i hate my ipod. it sits in my desk drawer. you should do the same thing and buy a decent mp3 player. i wish i could help you, but i cannot. good luck.
