Do you think Iran is the major supplier? Or who do you think is? And if they are coming across Iraq's borders, why aren't they being stopped?

Before asking questions like this, it is important to be more specific with words like insurgent. There is not 1 group of people fighting in Iraq. Iraq is a country created by the British after the first world war that was formed with no attention given to the ethnicity, religion or language of the people who were artificially forced to think of themselves as members of one country. Keeping this very brief background in mind might make the root of conflict in Iraq a little easier to understand.
There are Sunni and Shiite groups fighting. Kurds have what they want for the time being so they are not a part of fighting. Saudi Arabia supports the Sunni and Iran supports the Shiite sides of the conflict. Saudi Arabia is trying to hold Iran back from becoming a bigger influence than it already is in the region. Oil producing regions of Saudi Arabia are located in parts of the country with majority Shiite population and a more influential Iran will not be good news for the Wahabi ruling royal family.
Iran is helping the Shiite side to keep the US as tied up as possible. With troubles in Iraq to deal with, US will be less likely to try to topple Iranian government.
It all really boils down to self preservation.

This is the question, which is going to answer - how terrorism can be stopped. Due to the clandestine dealing with terrorist by some legitimate nations is causing the flow of all advance weapons to terrorist and causing havoc in other nations. Let take an example of Kashmir, the terrorist are locked in a land locked area in the Himalayas between India, Pakistan and a very small part of Afghanistan. But the terrorists are getting all advance weapons, military training, intelligence information, medical treatments and so on and on. India is not supporting terrorist and so they can’t do it. It is Pakistan who supports the terrorist activities is Kashmir by money, weapon, political support and moral support. But the UN and international community is keeping its hands crossed. If the UN and the international community can act strongly against Pakistan and stop the support provided by Pakistan to terrorist. The insurgency in the Kashmir can be kept in control. Hence with out the support of some legitimate nations terrorism cannot be grown and if we take strong action against such nations it will result in controlling the terrorism.

Now those are all very good questions. There are many here and around the world who make a very good living selling weapons to anyone with the money to pay for them. Why not stop this at the border? Also a very good one, and the deafening lack of response from Washington on this is especially disturbing.

Some are being imported, but much like Afghanistan, Americans are also being killed by surplus weapons made in the good old US of A. Its all well and good to sell weapons and support causes in the 80's and 90's but it sure can come back to haunt you when you now consider the countries you sold weapons to as the enemy.

Iran is the major supplier. This isn't a matter of debate, it's a fact that the weapons are coming from Iran.

i do not learn about Iraq yet in Afghanistan, purely about all of their bomb making components come from duds (artillery rounds, rockets, missiles, etc. that not in any respect exploded) they're got here upon everywhere, when they discover some, they purely decide on a cellular telephone, automobile starter, or a battery & some wires to set it off. After 20 - 30 years of conflict they're a dime a dozen.

Bush is training and arming the insurgents. It is a civil war and the weapons we give them will eventually be used in this war. If American Troops get in the way the weapons will be used on them. The answer is to get out of the way.
