You should go visit that person or depending on how he/she feels, ask him/her to go out with you even for a cup of hot tea; that should take care of your lonliness and help their sickness by lifting up their spirits.

What kind of sick?
Physically sick? Call them, sympathize, make them food(depending).
Mentally sick? Just be there. Don't pester them a lot to talk, but if they bring up something, it's probably because they want to talk about it. It's your time to shine as a listener.

For your reference, it's actually spelt "loneliness".
To answer your question, you could just spend time with that person or be around them. It would've helped if you explained how they are sick, because if it is something like a cold, you could give them soup or something, but if it was something more serious, you could be by their side and tell them you care and such.

call them on the phone. try to get them to go out with you for a latte and some chewing over the cud. you need friends. but to get friends, you need to learn to be a good friend. it is not hard, but what can be hard is pulling yourself out of your lonely sadness, getting up out of that sofa or bed, getting dressed, and actually going out! do it. you will begin to smile more often, and people will then call YOU.
