I thought the departed was one of the best I've seen in years. I saw night at the museum the other night. I heard it was supposed to be good and i guess it would have been if I was 5. I didn't realise it was kids movie but I should have guessed. The departed had good story line and good performances buy a number of actors. One element I thought was typical hollywood foolishness was that two main chracters were dting the same therapist. How likely is that. Oh well still well made movie. Not for the kids though.

I saw pursuit and although it was well done and acted I felt depressed. His moment of victory too short lived for my liking but I thought it was good movie.

Night at the museum edit. When the giant stone idol said to Ben Stiller heh dum dum give me some gum gum I thought to myself what the .... .... and when I saw Mickey Rooney and Dick van Dyke I thought the fossil section in the museum had already come to life.

Thanks X-Harly I wanted to see employee of the month mostly because I am trying to write a story about workig at wal-mart which is true but the most screwed up place and people I ever met. Some of it is hilarious and some of it border lie scary. I just wated to see how this movie might compare with whatI am writing. I also heard there is a series about what goes onbehind the scenes at a company, unforutnately I haven't been able to get that channel. I don't think it can compre with what I am writing however I will probably have to change names and company name so I don't get sued for everything.

I should add the departed had alot of language and some maynot want to see it for that purpose but other than that it was one of the best Ive seen in a long time.

Pan's Labyrinth was really good (not for young kids). Pure grounded escapism (is this an oxymoron?) - a fantastic fairytale which made you think. Don't waste your time or money on Rocky Balboa, it's terrible. Most of the film is Sly just grunting, wondering if he should compete in this fight (sorry, there's also a terrible storyline of him trying to get in this woman's pants), before a short, typical Rocky bit of music and running up the stairs. Then the fight. But hey, you might like it.

Best movie that I have recently watched is probably Saw 3. If you have seen the first two, you GOTTA watch the third one. Another good one was Little Black Book (kind of a chick flick, but funny)
Here are several bad movies that I have seen lately. Idlewild, because it had a bad ending. Little Miss Sunshine was lame. The WORST movie I have seen lately is with Luke Wilson. Idiocracy. The movie says it all. It wasn't worst of all time, but all of the humor is dumb humor. Not dumb funny, just plain dumb.

Best Movie: Night at the Museum - i know it's very kidsy, but it's hilarious. Ben Stiller and Owen Wilson are HILARIOUS. the plot was overall very good, it just kinda got boring because they kept showing him working at the museum every night. Even though each night was different, it was still kinda boring. But it was a pretty funny movie.

Worst movie: Epic Movie - THIS MOVIE IS NOT EPIC and it is NOT funny at all. I want my money back. :(

Best - Crank (but don't read the subs- they are like a different story line completely)
close runner up would have to be Night at the museum

Worst - A Scanner darkly - creepy story but it was just hard work to watch through

I went to the cinema alot last year and I liked most of the films but out of all of them i think the best film was Pirates of the Carribean as Orlando Bloom and Johnny Depp are most amazing actors. The worst film was Employee of the Month as it had no real story to it.

Best: "Shopgirl" i read the book when it came out and i love the movie even more!

worst: "An American Haunting" i thought would be a clever horror movie based on a true story in reality it was a ploy to shove anti- incest at people....i am anti-incest but i don't care to be bombarded with it in a movie

Just got home from " Pan's Laberynth"- Excellent film, but not what I expected. It is definatly an adult fairytail. Subtitled in english, Made and set in Spain, Iyt was extremely graphic. Definately a must see, not for young kids.

Best: Blood Diamond. Flawless.
Worst: Wicker Man. What on earth was that about? Poor worn out 'supernatural' theme, no plot, couldnt take it all the way to the end.
