who do you fear? Muslims, who have an opposing irrational belief system.

So, what you fear is irrationality, not rationality, right?

Well considering that Christians get their teachings from the Hebrew Bible (Old Testament) and Jesus and what he taught (New Testament). Muslim teaching is based on their altering of the Old Testament to fit what they believe to be more correct. And on top of that Muhammad, the supreme prophet for the Muslims, was brought up and influenced by many Jewish thinkers. Do I fear Muslims, No, do I fear irrationality, not really, because what ever belief system everyone has is based on their own rationale. Meaning that we all think for ourselves and draw out our own conclusions. Things like how matter started in the first place to allow for evolution, and what caused a supreme being into existence, are so open ended and personal to each person, that I don't fear what other people conclude to about life, because I understand how hard it is to put your belief in any one thing. It takes as much belief, in my Christian opinion, to be agnostic, atheist, Muslim, Jewish, Hindu, as it does to be a Christian. I believe that my faith is right, but I think evangelism by force isn't necessarily the right way to share my religion.

Atheists are not feared by Christians, because Christians dismiss Atheism as much as Atheists dismiss Christianity. And, for practically, the same reason. If you're a Christian, you think Atheists just haven't found God; likewise, if you're an Atheist, you think Christians have not found science.

Let me add this. I've said this before and I'll say it again.

Religion has been a dividing factor throughout history. And, always will be. That's why there are so many religions in the world and even more denominations.

Whatever you believe in or don't believe, why use it as as excuse to exclude people from your daily lives. Start getting to know people for who they really are. Good and bad.

The religious conservatives of any religion should be the ones to start the peace process, but they choose not to for fear of losing their own religion.

If you're a religious person and vote "no" to this, see what I mean.

Peace.

A real Christian, that is one who lives as a Christian as opposed to one who only speaks as one, does not hate people, but hates lies, and cheats.

A real Christian fears only Yahweh, He is in complete and total control over everything, including the enemy.

rationalize this : there is nothing you can do to me, nor is there anything that can be done to me by anyone/everyone (on a global scale ) that Yahweh did not allow.

Even if the entire population of the earth rose up to destroy me, not one hair on my head will be harmed except if Yahweh allows it. Now, if He will not allow me to be harmed, who then shall I fear?

Since He allowed his most holy and favorite son to suffer and die, so will I also suffer and die thereby proving to the world that I will live forever.

With that in mind what an irrational assumption you have made about Christians hating atheists. For what possible reason should we hate you when it is truly you who hate us, because we will live for eternity and HAVE GOD'S FAVOR. Yes, that's true We are GOD'S favorite.

So quit sulking, and get into a deep conversation with Jesus Christ.

Rationalize this: He is God right? < or so says I >
Then He must surely be able to speak for himself.
If He cannot then He isn't God right?
So tell him how you feel and give him time to respond and you'll see. He loves you and so do We.

Actually, Christianity and Muslim religions are not opposing nor is muslims belief system irrational. They are very much alike. Muslims even recognize Jesus as a prophet.

Christians do not hate Muslums or Atheists. We fear extreme Muslums and them coming into power. Etreme Muslums do not need to be in power to cause mass destruction. Unlike most atheists (Columbine, Oklahoma bombing being exceptions) there is not a major belief system pushing you to rub out those who do not believe in your god (the person him/her self).Usually you have to gain power to be destructive like in socislism or Communism (Kim Jong Il, Castro,Stalin, Hitler, Pol Pot). Where atheism will most certainly lead to.

A spiritually mature Christian loves everyone, hates nothing but sin (not sinners), and fears nothing. They are strong, humble, grounded, peaceful, warriors, radically rational, and rely not on themselves, but on the One that dwells within them.
