Do you get offended if "they" give you a smaller cubicle?

A little, but what i do is this. Last job i had, i had the smallest office on the floor. Not even close to the second smallest, it was smaller than my bedroom. Anyways, I made the most out of it. Lets just say, the DECOR IS CAPITALIZED! Made people jealous that theres was bland and mine was sweet, moved up into a nicer one in a year, now its bland but its big. haha.

I would love a cubicle all of my own. I have to "hotel" in a free one whenever I am in the office. It sucks because you have to store all your stuff at home.

You are simply showing your ignorance about his yarmulke. In addition, you probably would never say that to clergy in the Catholic Church who wear a similar covering on their head. The official Latin name for this little skullcap worn by Catholic clergy is pileolus. Pope does not actually wear a yarmulke, but a zucchetto. Whether you are religious or not showing respect for another person's religion is civilized. He wasn't trying to convert you, so there was no reason to really mock a person.
