The actor. People have a tendency to vote for the "guy next door" type. In our country, we are all to be considered equal, so for the people to vote for a leader from among themselves is not irrational at all. Think about the recent line of presidents...George W. Bush, Bill Clinton, George H. W. Bush, Ronald Regan, Jimmy Carter...all people you could imagine living next door to and sharing a beer with.

The actor of course. A rocket scientist would probably be a terrible President. There are many kinds of intelligence. There have only been 2 US Presidents with technical backgrounds. Herbert Hoover & Jimmy Carter. I rest my case.

The actor. he would pool in more votes. people don't care for science. they care about who they can relate to and an actor can pull off being anybody to get votes.
