Hindu-Muslim marriages should be encouraged for peace and harmony?

I mean inter-religious marriages in general.

Why not Hindu-Sikh, or Sikh-Muslim. If you meant in general. If a country truly wants to be taken seriously. They must allow and encourage equal rights for all. Countries like India and Pakistan would be more accepted if they had the separation of religion and government.

The experience says whenever a non-muslim boy marries a Muslim girl (it is very rare) he is required to be converted to Islam. When a non-Islam girl marries a Muslim boy, she has to invariably become Islam. That shouldn't be the case. There should be equal regard for all the religions then only the inter caste marriages become successful.

Hindu Muslim marriage should be encouraged as this reduce the discrimination between the religion and better understating will be developed between the 2 religions. this will also reduce the hatred that has developed between the 2 religions. one should be allowed to follow their religion but not discriminate the other religion and not be allowed to marry.
