i wwas maybe three the bomb went off killing 6 infants 3 workers and 2 teenage mothers my mother came to court to oppose them she had to give her adress some people came to protest at my house when i was a little child the crowd turned violant my dad came out with his .45 ACP and when one tryied to enter the home he shot one shot up in the air and said,"by god if any one of you try to hurt my family i will not hesitate to kill anyone of you!" these people where evengalical christians.

As an atheist, I struggle with questions like this...
But, I always try to remember (not always successfully) that people like this feel strongly that they are not only justified, but that it is their calling to save the lives of the unborn babies.
Much like your father with his gun, protecting his family. Try to think about it that way, and maybe you can come to a better understanding of why these misguided zealots commit some of the atrocities they do.
I'm so sorry that you had to go through that.

I find it very sick that people will VIOLENTLY protest abortion. Is there violence not exactly what they are protesting about. Also, these are the same people who find for women's right. HELLO?! Isn't abortion a woman's right? Do these people know what the word 'hypocrite' means? There are many very good reasons why a woman has chosen to have an abortion. It is her right, not anyone else's. When you start telling women that they do not have control over their own bodies, it is time to have them wearing head to toe black robes and being burned at the stake for showing any part of their bodies in public.

I think it's typical of the Christian attitude, do as I say not as I do. You don't protest murder by murdering someone! It's ridiculous and I'm so sorry that your family had to go through that. And just for the record, I am not pro choice even though I do believe there are instances when abortion should be legal.

As a sometime Minister and someone who considers himself a Christian I would like to apologize to you. The things done to you and your family by these supposed "Christians" do not in any way mirror the views of most Christians that I know. People who do things like that are the same folk who burned witches at the stake. They use God and religion to smear and hurt those around them and, in my view, are sinners and criminals who deserve the wrath of the Law on Earth and of God in Heaven.
