I do not think it will matter if you have a female/black running or not, 40% of Americans will vote for Democrats and 40% will vote for Republicans. Issues determine how the remaining 20% will vote.

I even ought to trust Michael the following, Having watched all 3 i imagine it very not likely Hillary Clinton will make it she is a loose cannon and extremely emotional not extremely ideal for such an priceless interest, Barack Obama comes for the era of all proper he's both pragmatic and clever regardless of the indisputable fact that it really is the race difficulty, a huge situation in a good number of states, so again i detect it not likely, so as that leaves John McCain who's an extremely wise sturdy guy an author,a protection rigidity guy, a guy who has been a Senator for decades a guy who's an experienced flesh presser my funds should be on him, yet i'm not American so my vote do not count number.

Race does not matter I would be willing to vote for any politition who has at least a sliver of honesty and empathy for this country. But a female president is another thing to me....
Right now this country does need a change but i don't think it should be as drastic as a female running the country! Why?
It is a proven fact that females base alot of their decisions on emotion rather than logic and right now thats not what this country needs!
keep in mind I am a woman and i belive that everyone should be treated equaly but now is just not the time for estrogen in the white house!

The fact that these questions even NEEDS to be asked is disappointing. I hope nobody here says "I don't think America is ready." That's just a lousy excuse for someone who doesn't want to vote for them anyway.

The accusations that some southern Americans a "too backwoods" to vote for a minority is foolish. If someone who is a woman, or a black man, or any combination of other races thereof, would be a good President, people will vote for them. I don't buy the excuse that people simply "aren't ready."

I hope that any votes cast against one of these people (one of them WILL be the nominee) are because of their policy, and not because of any other issue. They CAN win, if what they bring to the table is right.

Well, it sounds like our options will be wide and varied in this upcoming election...

However, in America, how many people really believe thier one ballot in the "popular vote" counts?

We all know that what counts is the Electoral College and no one below the college's feet can control them.

Start writing letters...

Some would vote for, some wouldn't. Colin Powell had a real good chance...he was honest enough not to want it. That's the kind of leaders we need...those so disgusted with the current crowd they don't want anything to do with them....in either party.

I would vote for a female and for a black president.. IF i thought that THAT particular person could handle the job. I would not vote for anyone based solely on the basis of color or gender.
Example: I'd vote for Condi RIce, if she ran. She has proven herself wise in foreign affairs, and I think she'd be savvy enough to handle the office of pres.

None of the above. I don't vote based on gender, race, party, etc... Pardon, but is your vote sexist, racist, or dependent on a select group?

I vote for a president.

Yes. Hopefully we won't vote for anyone BECAUSE of their gender or race, but because they are the best candidate.
Hillary or Obama? Obama isn't really all that impressive...he never seems to be saying anything of any substance....it just sounds like bad poetry when he's talking.
The only way I see Hillary winning is if she is running as Bill. She lacks his charisma, and seems extremely phony and manipulative to me. In other words, if she runs implying that Bill will really be president..vote for Hillary..wink, wink.
