I'm in my freshman year in high school and I made a GPA of 4.04. My grades are mostly above 95 and none below 90. Are these records good enough, if I keep them for the rest of high school? What else do I need? About how well will I make on SATs? I'm very concerned in my education and I don't know if I will be able to attend any universities. Thank you very much for answering the question. Please, the more specific the better.

By the way, I did take 2 Honors classes ( Algebra & Geometry at the same time). Maybe that's why I have a GPA higher than 4.0 ^_^ . Some people take all AP classes and I saw some GPAs of 4.444 (or even above).

Your GPA seems fine, but remember they look at that within the context of your school. This means they take into account your class rank - you should be at or near the top - and the rigor of the coursework you're taking, how well other people from your school do in college, etc.
If you really want to go to one of these schools, you'll need to be one of the best students at the school, be very involved in at least one or two outside activities, show leadership in those activities, get at least mid-700s on all three sections of the SAT (many applicants get perfect 2400s), and have very good recommendations and essays. It wouldn't hurt to be a legacy or the child of the president or somebody, either.
It can also just be a random luck of the draw... I know of a set of twins who both got into Harvard, but not into the University of Washington as out-of-staters.... So good luck to you, but look at some other schools, too. Prestige isn't everything.

No, you didn't. GPA on a 4.0 scale means 4.0 is the HIGHEST you can get. Colleges don't want your weighted average.
Plus, Harvard/Yale and such have a lot of people with 4.0's (not weighted) applying. You need to stand out in some way. Like publish a book, record an album, start a non-profit, do original research.
Good luck on the next three years. Try to figure out what you want to do - remember, Harvard isn't the best school for EVERYTHING.

Maybe, depends on your school, the difficult of your classes, etc., everything is relative when we're talking college admissions. I'm pretty sure that if you did pull a 4.04 that you'll be able to get into college somewhere, and education is little more than what you put into it. That said, do well on the SAT, throw in some extracirriculars, and you should be set. That's key, don't put all your eggs in the GPA/SAT basket or you'll get a small envelope despite your 4.04.

So far, so good. Popular schools such as those look at things other than grades -- they want to see you doing interesting things. Which covers a lot of territory, to be sure. Just don't spend all your time hitting the books.
