I know alot of musicians use it to get there name out, and that's understandable, but why do other people use it so much? Who are we trying to impress?

I do not try and impress anyone. I use it to stay in contact with my friends, seeing as how we are a military family it is a way to stay updated on everyones lives with pictures, news, things like that. That is the main reason everyone I know uses myspace.

i imagine it purely provides people something to do. Sitting all day in a unmarried position can get a touch dull. Myspace is a way for individuals to stay in contact with previous friends and make new ones. you ought to attempt it....you ought to savour the down time:)
