There's this guy that i like, but there is a small problem. I'm an aries, and he's a capricorn, and my horoscope tells me that i would never be compatible with him, because of my personality. It said that if me, and my crush ever hooked up, it would not be a match made in heaven. Should that scare me off? I know that most horoscopes shouldnt be taken seriously, but so far, my horoscopes affect me in some way. What would you do if this happened to you? (serious answers please)

Don't even worry about that. I'm in a happy relationship of almost 4 years with a girl who's sign is not compatible with mine. And on top of that i'm a capricorn and my best friend is an Aries. I do tend to rely on horoscopes just out of curiousity but so far i've proved them wrong when it becomes to relationships

As an astrologer I can tell you it's more complicated than this. You cannot just say Aries and Capricorn do not work. Both of you will have a lot more in your charts in lots of different places that would have many different affects. I disagree with whatever horoscope you sought, Aries and Capricorn can get along very well indeed. The fire in Aries enlivens the sometimes stuck in the mud capricorn and the steady capricorn can ground the sometimes too fiery Aries. If you really wish to know more the consult a reputable astrologer in your area and take a look at the bigger picture. You will need both birthdates, times of birth and places of birth to be truly accurate.
To those people who answers attempted to degrade people like myself, I must point out that in any area of life you get the good and bad, therefore just like car salesmen you get the genuine trained knowledgeable astrologer and those that are in it for a quick dollar.

yeah. Those are oddly correct. But it is often very vague. It is not bad to read the horoscopes if you are a Christian. I for example like to take those Wiccan tests online that tell you what kind of spirit animal and element you are, and most of the time, it is right on the money. But I don't believe it. Most of them are compiled from an average of what most of those people are like in a specific area, and they only tell you the good stuff about you that you want to hear. They are used to appeal to the public. I'm an Aries too!

I would forget about it. (The horoscope, not the guy). I mean, seriously, how can you predict future with stars? If you believe in yourself, it can happen. Horoscopes are just a bunch of people trying to fool people and get them to buy their asrology, free readings and stuff like that. It's entertainment so people won't get bored. Go get him.

The horoscope thing is a lot of rubbish and if you think it can provide information about relationships you should see a doctor. Really jus just your relationship based on how you feel not on some generalised horoscope looney tune

Horoscopes use The Barnum principle which by using general traits make people identify themselves to what is said, but if you read all of them without the title you would find that they all fit you in some way.

A lot of what my love horoscope says day to day is frighteningly correct. But you can't listen to them when it comes to compatibility. It is just saying that based on your personalities, you wouldn't work. But that can be changed. Just work for it.

Yes and no. Honestly people tend to have the traits of their astrological symbols. It's fact.. but even if astrology says.. If you are a dog stay away from pigs and horses... so then you can't date people who were born on certain months or close to a certain day.. that's just silly.
