What is wrong with the myspace site?

Myspace was not hacked, it was not shut down, it isn't a legal problem either. Due to technical difficulties (weather related) the site is unavailable to some people. It depends on the network you are in on myspace. Some are able to log on just fine, whereas some are going to have a problem getting the site to even load. They are currently working on the problems, but since it is weather related there is no gaurentee as to when it will become available to everyone again. Be patient and keep checking back to see if your network has be fixed.

i don't have the answer for you... BUT i have been having the exact same problem for over two days now, also! i'm so frustrated and have tried everything... including rebooting, restoring to an earlier time (several times), clearing cache, cookies, etc., calling my ISP, and changing lots of settings... and NOTHING worked... so i stumbled upon this Q&A site and have found that i am not alone. i have had responses saying the rumor is that myspace is doing some maintenance and/or was hacked and should be up by monday. i get the impression that it may be a regional thing, because some people seem to be logging on just fine. i also tried logging in thru my laptop, and no luck there either! and LOTS of people on here are posting the same problem/question! good luck to you... and to us all!!!

I have been having the same problem. My neighbor cannot access from her home computer but she can from laptop? Anyway my neighbors 13 yr old son told me to go to www.vtunnel.com and you can get on that way. It WORKS! If you type in www.myspace.com in the search bar and then sign into myspace and click continue when prompted... It seems to be a longer process but it does work!!!

I just logged onto MySpace just fine, but I think some other people are having problems too. I saw some more people asking questions about it also.

dont worry it`s happening to everybody and i have no idea when it`s gonna be back up.. but u can go to http://www.unfilterme.com and go to the box at the bottom and type in myspace.com and it will take you to the login page so u can log in. the bad thing is u cant leave comments or reply to messages but u can still check all your new stuff. there are also other sites like http://www.bypasslive.com http://www.buzzysplat.com http://www.freenfun.com ((there just sites a student would use to get into myspace at school)) good luck they work for me but i would recommend either http://www.unfilterme.com or http://www.bypasslive.com they work the best =]

i found a way by messin around with my browser follow carefully

[hope its not too confusing]
first yu open your broswer [internet explorer .etc]
then go to TOOLS [next to favorites and help]
then click on INTERNET OPTIONS
then find broswer history or Cookies]
SELECT DELETE ALL
after it FULLY deletes go to address bar type in MYSPACE.COM
then the login page should show
after you login in it might not work still dont EXIT out of anything yet
repeat the DELETE ALL thing in the tools
after you fully delete it again click on the BACK ARROW then select home and it should work =]

not sure, ive been having a problem accessing it for the past 2 days im hoping they fix w/e the problem is though, ive tryed logging in so many times, a few of my friends got in though

Ive signed into 2 accounts and it works for me.
