My mother work for a company that brought exchanges students to the North West of the United States. She left this and went back to teaching but the experience was very good. Had I to do it again I would have sought this out and tried to be an exchange student. I find that to open the door to your country and step out into the World is a very fascinating and rewarding experience that to few take.

Well a student from Kazakstan is coming to stay here in May, I met him there while working in an orphanage. I can't wait to show him America.

My best friend's family has had several. If my parents had a larger house they would do it too. Seems like a great way to meet different people.
If you want to have a pen pal just email me.

No, but I knew several in high school, and many during college. Fascinating way to learn about our world.
