I'M BAFFLED, but I'm also curious because I want to understand this.
My friend and I were in an internet cafe and we checked our myspace inboxes and he showed me this comment a girl posted him.
She's only young but she wrote "Is that a mirror in your pocket? I can see myself in your pants." (and she's not even ugly.)
She's 16 and he's bloody 34 and out of the 4,000 something friends he's the oldest guy in her friends list. (Everyone except for ONLY about 5 people are under 20) he didn't add her, she added him.
He didn't click approve.
Why would a 16 year old girl who's not ugly post such a comment to a man 18 years older than her for? She couldn't actually like him could she? Or is she just a silly girl who thinks a guy older than me would like her?

She's either a young lady that's in desperate need of a father figure or she's an undercover cop. Either way the friend should stay far far far away!

I dated a guy that was 33 when I was 16, as for the comment anyone can put a comment in your myspace profile, if her picture isn't under your friends list, than technically she wouldn't have already been added to his list. As for why she did it, kids mess up myspace all the time.

Her attempt to entice you is actually manipulation. She may have problems dealing with young men her own age. You, on the other hand, would offer very little resistance and she would hold all the power in the relationship. That is, if you are susceptible to a devious silly young girl and want to flirt with disaster!

That is the dangerous thing about the internet, many pretend to be what they are not and most do not realize the danger until well into it.
The same could said of many older men saying inappropriate things to girls much much younger than they.
