Be more open and understanding and allow yourself to learn, and don't surround yourself with more shallow people. It also helps if you can be compassionate and put yourself in positions other than your own. It's nice to be important, but it's more important to be nice. I'm not sure what you're shallow about, but you can overcome it if you are understanding or when you grow up a little and experience loss.

Show more consideration for others then you do for yourself! Don't judge people for their looks or economic status, and remember, before you treat someone in a particular way, ask yourself how you would feel if being treated the same way. That would be a good start. Good luck.

this one is easy, stop thinking of yourself first. listen and actually care. and don't automaticly place value on what others think is important, actually think about what really matters not what looks like something others would be jeolous.

go volunteer somewhere...force yourself to help someone else...even if your intentions are to make yourself feel better...you will eventually become less self absorbed and end up giving more of yourself. oh and don't talk about yourself ask more questions about others.
