I've always had dark circles under my eyes. It's genetic, I got it from my dad. I'm only 21, but I'm look much older, too much older. I'm a singer/performer, and I usually get cast in roles designated for older persons(moms, grandmas, old maids, elderly aunts), I want to be in younger roles, but these dark circles make me look too old to play my age. I've tried everything, I get enough sleep, I eat right, I get stressed out, but who doesn't. I've had this problem since I was about 13, and now I need some help. I've done those makeup remedies, and some different home remedies, but they don't seem to work. I don't want to get surgery, that's too drastic, and expensive. Does anyone have any ideas that could help me? Please.

Try thinly cut potato slices. So many people swear by it.

I'm 22 and look a lot older too coz of the same reason, and I've found that mint leaves (crushed and made into a paste) can do wonders for dark circles. Just soak the mint leaves for ten minutes then chop them up as finely as you can, or just use the mixer and make into a paste. Apply for twn to fifteen minutes and wash off. You need to try this twice a week and by week two, you should see the difference.

Good luck!

If you try all these things and still no luck (I have them too!) then there is a makeup that works very well. It is Mary Kay's concealer. You may also be able to use their Highlighting pen-works well for me. If you are in Canada, check out www.marykay.ca/dgoldrick , if not, check out Mary Kay's .com site and try to find a beauty consultant in your area that can work with you. We are trained to find what works for your individual needs...hope this posting helps you...

Have you tried putting a cold compress on your face at night? I've heard that it helps, but I've never tried it myself.
