I saw the term "troll" used recently - and have no idea what it means. (Gosh, I feel stupid!) Can anyone tell me how it relates to Y answers and other forums?

^^The above response would be a typical "troll" response. It's someone who goes from forum thread/post to post and makes brief statements with the sole intent of insulting or angering the original poster.

Trolls - they are people who misuse things on the Internet - like Yahoo-Answers - for their own purposes which is to the detriment of those people trying to use the websites features for what they were intended for.

there are other meanings too, so it depends on the context in which it is used.
some other meanins are; to roll,to trundle ,to spin,to move nimbly,wag(as in the tongue) etc etc

it can mean many things. someone that cause nothing but drama....to a person i know on the web that uses that name.
