Corruption is just a symptom. The desease is too much power in the hands of too few people. If the government is limited and has limited power to hand out favors, money and the like, then corruption will by like wise reduced.

On the other hand if you have too many regulations, taxes and government subsidies you're going to have corruption. "Power corrupts, absolute power corrupts absolutely". I don't know who said it but it is universally true.

Corruption is here and as long as I can remember and read it states it in our history books in the US and other Countries. If one practices honesty and teaches it to their family and friends maybe it can help. But when you have parents not teaching their children they have to pay for their crimes and get them out of them your going to have more of what we have now. Money can buy a lot and it's seen everyday. I'm sorry but all we can do is live the honestly and hope we can teach others to follow.

It's so far out of control, I mean where do we begin cleaning up?

What about you? Where would YOU begin?
