"We are on this Earth for one reason only, to PROCREATE"

Well that's nature's plan.
But some people talk as if anything natural must be right.
Don't get me wrong, I'm all for us living a lifestyle more in tune with nature, eating more natural things, and conserving the planet.

But nature is NOT a good thing. Nature means that after you have procreated you have outlived your purpose. Nature's plan for us would be to have children and die young so we're out of the way and not consuming precious resources.

If you are looking at us from the view of nature then what marks out as any different from a virus? We consume and spread and that's it.

Let's not follow our design - let's break the programming and make our own decisions!

i admire this question. i think of there is underlying question in the question. I propose the main obtrusive motives as nicely as solutions are to take care of the life of human stay. i think of it relatively is extra of a philosophical question. what's the relatively purpose of the human race? the end results of procreation is new life. yet once you watch the information or word the persons around you that query is rather valid certainly. What purpose will we've? I continually like it when I study that each little thing you study is opinion however the bible is fact. Is it relatively fact that water might nicely be converted into wine? Come on now. Who wrote the bible. incredibly the previous testomony. incredibly, Genesis. Adam and Eve. Is it no longer advised from one technology to the subsequent? Is it in all probability that the concept of procreation is in basic terms hearsay? i think of your question is valid if it a philosophical one.

And here was I thinking that the only reason I was here, was to pay TAX...

I agree, however there are examples of females and males mating for life in the animal kingdom, ie Magpies, dolphines, elephants (serial monogamy).

And the other point was that as a species, individuals have two purposes, to pass on the single DNA and to ensure the collective group must also survive. So as a group individuals must compete against each other but as a group the species must develop to compete agains other groups.

on a very basic level yes we are BUT we have also evolved into a very intelligent species and a very greedy and destructive one at the same time, things like the industrial revolution was the best thing to happen for industry and society but at the time did'nt realize the impact on the enviroment and up until 5 years ago governments didn't really do any thing about it thinking "green" people were the spawn of satan. Everything revolves around money and image now so i think we are destined to destroy ourselves ie terrorism, racial hate, country by country invasion, wars ect.. So i think yes we are here to procreate but at the same time the more of us there are the more problems arise !!

That is part of the reason why we are here but there are many other reasons in my opinion. We are here to learn and a man who can not be faithful is a poor choice for one to help out with the procreation. It destroys the family life and then destroys the earth's future. We need intelligent offspring who are physically strong.

I agree. I see the nature of Nature is 'reproduction.' However, if we can gain a few other pleasurable experiences along the way, like meaningful relationships, a few GCSE result, a Degree or a Doctorate along the way and maybe save a life or two, too. Then I kinda think it expands the horizon somewhat.

Incidentally, I never did procreate. So I failed here.

Sash.

Actually procreation is only the most basic reason that the species thrives. Mankind would have been wiped out thousands of years ago, during the ice age, had it not been for incredibly resourceful humans who were able to survive despite incredibly harsh conditions.

So while getting it ooon is necessary being intelligent, resourceful, and productive count even more.

Which is why I worship Bear Grylls.

Self survival is probably first - being the strongest and first instinct we have when born. Then, continuation of the species.

Self survival is the main reason for having rules (laws). So I think something happened to have man change from polygamist to monogamist. Maybe raw animal jealousy and possessiveness created havoc/murders. Anyway, with Mankind being a social animal it was probably advantageous to have rules of conduct.- in order to survive and continue with the species.

No

But procreation is programmed into the human body. This is why a man will quickly orgasm and leave a woman still wound up. The woman was designed to achieve pleasure slower so she would go find more partners and have a great chance of genetic diversity and pregancy.

We're test experiment B. The dinosaurs were test experiment A. They did so well until they got wiped out because either they screwed up or they couldn't survive the universe screwing them over.

As for us, we're thriving now, sure, but it looks like we're on our way to screwing ourselves over. The universe is going to have to come up with a test experiment C soon.

So we are here because the universe is testing to see what species will be best for whatever plan they have in mind.
