It seems like all the chatrooms are just people saying the same thing. Are there any rooms that people actually talk about normal stuff?

they don't exist...
every room is filled with bots..
that's why i stopped going into them.

No; sad but true this happens as yahoo chat rooms are free and anyone can join in (such as a bot). MSN makes you pay so that bots are deterred from wanting to get into their chat rooms, but at times it still happens (along with ICQ which I believe is still free). Try joining jib jab as I have not seen bots on there yet, just funny jokes!

That'd suck if people put bots in chat rooms. The question is, why???

People still go in chat rooms? Wow! I know your frustrations, that's why I haven't been in one in years. Good luck finding one bot-free.

what a shame, as soon as yahoo got rid of the user rooms it went to hell
i enjoy bs ing with people but have no outlet now and havent for years

i think books and literature (under entertainment and arts)
u will find decent (living)people having normals conersations!...
also in classical music (under music)...
very little bots here .. but anyhow u will find really gr8 people here ... and some amazing things to talk abt...

yes try icq its very good but some of the rooms are put with a bunch of people so try and get one with a low count or try www.justachat.com is another one i favor
