Call the police!

You don't even have to tell them your name, they'll check it out. I had something similar happen to a neighbor, and I chose to remain anonymous. She was really hurt, and it was a good thing that I was in the right place at the right time. Help her if you can.

although what you saw was totally wrong, you should have not been looking into their window and could be arrested for peeping. if you were just passing by the open curtain, that;s a different story...

call the police and report it- you might do her a favor. if there are children in the house, call the department of childrens services too and tell them what you saw. violence is rarely waged on just one member of the family- it is often against everyone.

she may be mad at you for it- but in the end she will thank you.

just make ABSOLUTE SURE you know what you saw!!

Call someone, the authorities. There's a women's violence hotline number somewhere. Remain anonymous and don't let on that you saw that to your neighbours. Then just hope for the best.

and you were looking in your neighbor's window.....why?

yeah, call the P.D. when you witness any domestic violence and say you would like to remain anonymous. The worst that can happen is the offending party will deny any problem.

Yes, I was an abused wife. I'm still messed up from it. I wish someone would have looked into my windows years ago and saved me.
