I would like to apologize for all of the stupid, ignorant, underage, "conservative" children that post questions on Y!A. I would like to tell you that not all conservatives are like that. I'm sorry. To keep this a question so it's legal; Are there any thoughts on this matter?

Maybe we can stop them by not fueling them by answering their questions.

For the record, I am not trying to censor anyone. I believe in our god given right to free speech. I am just sick and tired of all the brats that come on here wasting our time and getting us all heated up.

Con-woman. It's ok to be young and voice your opinion(I'm 23), and if you do it in a mature way than you don't fall into the catagory I'm talking about.

Big Dave- This is strictly my opinion. I put conservative in quotation marks because a lot of people on here that are in the catagory that I said don't really know what is going on because truthfully they haven't experienced the real world. They hear one issue that they like and roll with it.

Well tinker thinker, I don't think that there is any need to apologize for anyone else. I am all for freedom of speech and I think that everyone that answered in here, both liberal and conservative alike, got the point. Pluse a couple of people already apologized for the "little" liberals.

Scorebor I gave you that thumbs down because that is exactly what I am talking about. That dissapointed me that you said that because most of the time I agree with what you say.

rhubardpi- I don't think that you are unpatriotic for voicing your opinion about the war in Iraq. It's people like Jane Fonda that give you a bad name, you being in Vietnam should know what I am talking about. I just got out of the Army myself and did time in the sandbox. I do however think that people are unpatriotic for not supporting the soldiers. Thats my opinion.

God knows it's on both sides... and I say that as a liberal....
heck, I even probably get pissed sometimes and go over the top...
but in the end... I guess it's just a web site, and while I appreciate the gesture... I think most of us know there are many reasonable people on both sides... and many "kids" as well...

Thank you. Conservatives aren't the only "children" that seem to be posting, lately... I think they're just feeling more under pressure because of the way world events are going. For what it's worth, I love meeting conservatives willing to explore different subjects in hopes of reaching some kind of bipartisan decision. I like to think that's what democracy is about.

I applaud your gesture. The problem I have as a liberal is not this site, which I find hard to take seriously, my problem stems from Bush/Cheney calling/suggesting we are unpatriotic if we disagree with them about the fiasco in Iraq. Lives are at stake as well as our world wide reputation and I am angry. I am 60 yrs old, volunteered to serve in "Nam and see Iraq as much of the same, i.e. a complete waste, one mistake after another.

First of all as a Conservitive underage child I would like to say that I, in no way, made any ignorant reamarks. Many have I agree because they don't know the art of arguing their point. But I'm wondering why you put Conservitive in quotations?

It flows both ways. I wish there was a way to eliminate all the BS and ghost accounts people set up on here. Maybe kicking off fresh accounts automatically with a couple of reports from established responders.

I try to keep in mind the fact that they ARE children, and can't yet act as adults. Of course, some of them never will, but that's true with any group. YOU are very nice to try to make amends for them; you can't be responsible for the whole world, but maybe you can help at least a few of them see that they are behaving in such a way as to bring discredit to everyone in the group.

You are really cool and get my thumbs up!! I agree, we should fuel them by answering their questions. It's sad that their parents are more than likely the ones teaching them this stuff.
