I have a few pairs of pants that were deliberately cut long (because I intended on wearing them with heels.)

I just bought some flats and the pants are kind of too long to wear with flats. I was wondering if doublesided tape would work to temporarily hold them up from the inside. This is because I don't want to permanently alter them. Just sometimes wear the pants a big shorter. I wonder if doublesided tape would do the temporary trick.

I wasn't sure if doublesided tape was damaging to the fabric.

Have any of you done this before or have any suggestions?

Thanx!

Double sided FABRIC tape will work. Regular double stick tape won't be nearly strong enough, and something like duct tape will goop up your clothes. They should have it at any major fabric store.

I've tried it-it won't last very long. But there's fabric tape that's two sided that you can buy at a fabric store that won't leave a mark on your pants showing where you changed the highth of the pants.

it's what will work the best, unless you want to throw in a couple of quick stitches in there. just don't step on the inside seam, and you'll be fine.
