well my son is 1 and my fiance and I want my cousin and his wife to be godparents to him, but his wife lives in Mexico. So will he be baptist if it happens in Mexico? do ya'll understand?

Yes... your son can get baptized in Mexico. It is best to get in contact with the church where ever your son will be baptized at and get it arranged. You might have to take a baptizmal class before you go. That can be easily arranged here in the US. My little sister was batptized in Mexico and all they needed was the date and a certificate of a baptism class from the US. Thats it!

You can baptize him anywhere you want to. It's not like baptizing is recorded with a municipality like marriage, baptism is a covenant you make with God professing your commitment to raise and nurture your child in the Christian faith. As long as it's done by an ordained priest or pastor (depending on your denomination) it's fine.

You can baptize your son anywhere there is a body of water and a priest.
