6 weeks pregnant, you can still have a D & C & it isn't worse that having a baby. Having a baby is by far more painful. I've experience both situations. There is some mild cramping associated with the procedure. I would talk with your doctor or Planned Parenthood.
Some cities also have low cost women's health clinics which you can go to. Talk to someone & not Yahoo answers to find all the info. & support you require.
I'm sure you're not making this decision lightly. Make sure this is what you truly need to do for yourself.

Please be prepared for the emotional trauma of this event. Some people see this as murder. Even if you don't view it that way, I'm sure you will feel some repercussions from your actions.
Talk to Planned Parenthood. They can get your in contact w/ the appropriate people. Don't let others persuade you either. It is your body. I personally would not abort a child, but I am very pro choice. Only you know what is appropriate.
Abortion is not particulary cheap, but PP will help you with all the financial help you need. Good luck and I will think of you in my prayers. Remember, that God loves you no matter what. It will probably hurt some physically, based on all of the documents, but not as much as child birth. I feel the worst part is knowing you aborted your potential child. This DOES NOT MEAN YOU KILLED A CHILD. Don't think that way. Youre body is your decision, and you must do what is in the best interest of you and your potential unborn baby. My prayers are with you.

I will answer this as a physician and then you act on it whichever way you want
Abortions are unpleasant to perform and receive in many cases.
There are many risks involved that are a lot less than giving birth and using the adoption method.
Once has to have a very good reson to get an abortion is some countries due to the morals that may preside in that state.
If it is affecting ones Psyche to the point of being a risk then an abortion will be carried out to preserve the life of the individual over the fetus.
You have a little time to think about your options But I suggest you get some councelling to help you make the right decision. Forums like this may not be the way to deal with something very personal to you.

I never had one. I have been pregnant two times in my life and they have ended up being two beautiful, healthy girls. I have a few friends who have had abortions though. One tried that pill method. She was in excruciating pain for hours and saw the tiny baby "fetus" sac come out of her. She held it in her hand and she said it "popped". She says that's what she gets for screwing around with a married man, getting pregnant then killing her baby. She never wanted a baby. But she smokes and she didn't want to take the pill. Another friend said it was like her insides getting ripped out. The other friend had two abortions-she had money though and I think she got knocked out while she had them. I don't know........I just don't know how this can be ok...

Since you are only a few weeks pregnant, you should still be eligible for a medical abortion, which means you will take a couple of pills (the abortion pill). You will basically experience a really bad period...expect lots of cramping, bleedings, headaches, etc. You wil have to go in for a follow up appointment to make sure the abortion went through 100%.

lol nicely i assume we've the respond for overpopulation. If the lady did no longer choose to alter into pregnant then do away with it. guy which will relatively shrink down on the delivery cost. in any case, sure it could harm. relies upon on the type. Do assume some cramping, bleeding ect. i might additionally factor out (in all probability no longer on your case) yet some females bypass by emotional discomfort afterwards. i be attentive to it appears that evidently like a rant, yet certainly some females come out of there emotionally scarred simply by technique or determination or regardless of.

Some places do it for free. There is some discomfort, and it's really really hard emotionally. You may think your ok with it before you go in but then when you get there you will probably regret it before they start the procedure, some places are rude and even if you change your mind they won't let you. Make sure you know what you really want before you go for it. Adoption is also an option.
