More people seem to be interested in bashing each other...."neocons"..."neolibs"....too much name calling with little to no intelligent discourse on how to resolve the issues, in my opinion. That being said, sure people are more interested in politics of late; there's as much morbid entertainment involved as an episode of Jerry Springer.

I sure as heck hope so, especially in the United States. So many people fought--and died--for the right to vote, it's pathetic that so few people vote now. I'd love to see an upsurge among the previously unregistered voters in the next election--and see what they want out of our government.

If so, why do so few of us vote? More people have an opinion than ever before, but do they truly care is another matter.
