An undergraduate is a student who hasn't yet received a degree; a graduate student is a person who has one degree, and is continuing with his/her studies, for a higher degree, or simply to add to their knowlege.

A graduate is one who has graduated. An Ungraduate is one who has not yet graduated. Take me, for instance. When I dropped out of college, I was an undeclared undergraduate. Not to split hairs, but those who helped shape the world dropped out of college. Don't go to college believing it is the ONLY place in your world where you can find your education and your answers. Look at Miles Davis. He attended a prestigious university of music and dropped out in less than a year to go learn under some street performer for the next three years. How do you keep your hands clean if you've never gotten them dirty? I'm not telling you to stop, but what I AM telling you, much like the killers at Columbine said in the note they left, is that make sure you do it for the right reasons.
