Oriental Beauty:
I came back with a poetic song for you.
It was written by Charlie Chaplin and sung by many singers. One that is very good is Eric Clapton.

Hope you like it!

"Smile

By chaplin, parsons and phillips

Smile, though your heart is aching.
Smile, even though it’s breaking.
Though there are clouds in the sky,
You’ll get by...

If you smile through your fears and sorrows.
Smile and maybe tomorrow.
You’ll see the sun come shining through.

If you just light up your face with gladness,
Hide every trace of sadness.
Although a tear may be ever, ever so near.

That’s the time you must keep on trying.
Smile, what’s the use of crying?
You’ll find life is still worthwhile
If you’ll just smile, come on and smile.

If you just smile. "

John Lennon - Imagine

Imagine there's no heaven
It's easy if you try
No hell below us
Above us only sky
Imagine all the people
Living for today...

Imagine there's no countries
It isn't hard to do
Nothing to kill or die for
And no religion too
Imagine all the people
Living life in peace...

You may say I'm a dreamer
But I'm not the only one
I hope someday you'll join us
And the world will be as one

Imagine no possessions
I wonder if you can
No need for greed or hunger
A brotherhood of man
Imagine all the people
Sharing all the world...

You may say I'm a dreamer
But I'm not the only one
I hope someday you'll join us
And the world will live as one

I just wrote one but it is not very traditional:

Writing on a Saturday Night

I could be watching TV or we
could be in Africa hearing how the Pygmies
cry over spilled beans and how
they have been mistreated for centuries....

or further east the Rwandan thugs remain
in the jungle hunting game and virgins
for their strange appetites

while in Asia smugglers create
oriental pearls and opal mixtures
for your eyes
for just one smile

You may like these lines or you could
just press delete to forget
what has just slipped by your eye

perhaps you will give me points
although I am surpassing level 4

I could care less about points
since I thirst for experience
and your praise or blame.. yours Robert L.

Beans, beans,
Musical fruit,
the more you eat them,
the more you toot,
the more you toot,
the better you feel,
so eat them for every meal!

Ahhh thank you very much.
