If it's already set and dried in them, I'd say pitch them, and buy some new ones...then next time, clean them as soon as you are finished with your job. Here's a really good trick I learned though..If you have to stop in the middle of your paint job, wrap your brushes or rollers up really good in plastic wrap and stick them in the fridge! They'll stay good for days, and you can just unwrap them and start painting again! Or when you are finished with a job, after you wash them really, really good, let them soak in a solution of water & fabric softner (Downey) and then let them dry, and it will keep your bristles nice & soft for next time:)
Good Luck!

Pitch them.Even if the paint did break up and come off the brushes they would not give good results on your next painting project.I learned this the hard way

visit your local hardware store, you can buy a can of cleaner made just for removing dried paint from your brushes. there are a few different brands, so just tell them what you want to do and they will show you what they have. good luck, hope they clean up for you.

let them soak in a strong mixture of tsp and water. it may take a few days but it can work in some cases. if u soak them in paint stripper , it also works for very hard paint in brushes.

the best way to do this is to put them in hot water and then with your hand rub off the paint becuase its better to do it when the paint is wet to get it off. so thats why you wanna use hot water

if you want it off, try scrubbing it in hot, tap water for about 6 minutes. If that doesn't work, then try srubbing it under running water with a sponge.
