I don't know about "mass hallucination" but I do know that people can share the same delusional thoughts and/or dementia; it called Folie a deux, Also, "mass hallucination' doesn't sound like a clinical diagnosis to me. If such a thing does exist (which I doubt) I will bet my bottom dollar that the name you have is incorrect. Why don't you check on the American Psychological Association website? There is a link for "glossary of terms".
