It could take a month to get out or it could take years, it just depends on your body.

I would chart your cycles on mymonthlycycles.com to maximize your chances. good luck

Everyone is different. Remember, some people get pregnant by missing one or two pills!
It should be out of your system, but sometimes it can take 3 to 6 months, usually when you were on BC longer than 5 years though.
Keep trying. That's the fun part! LOL! If you're concerned, see your OBGYN for some advice. She/he can answer a lot of your questions.
In the mean time, you can set up a free account at places like FertilityFriend.com and start tracking your info to help you get there faster.
Good luck to you!!!

I was off the pill for a day and I got pregnate.....

I think it just depends on how long you have taken the pill..When the dr explained it to me she told me it basicly creates a mucus membrane around the egg so that sperm cannot get into it. So since you have been taking it a while it make take longer for the membrane to shed and you to actually get pregnate.

Like I said above I only missed 1 pill and I got pregnate but I also only took them for about....10mths or so.....Anyway best of luck to you! I hope that you and your Fiance get a bouncing baby soon ^.^

I tried to take birth control pills in Dec. of '05. They really messed me up! I only took them for about 3 weeks. They were making me bleed all of the time. After I stopped taking them, it took me until Sep. of '06 to get them out of my system. It's different for everybody. I just had a really bad reaction to them. Where you were on them for so long, I'd say to wait a little longer. They'll go away eventually. Although, I didn't think they would. I wish you the best of luck!

The pill is out of your system completely 24-48 hours after you stop taking it.
