When going to 8th period me and my friend Fallon were talking about how Carson grabbed my purse and hid it to joke around with me.Joseph looked in my purse to see who's it was and I'm not sure what he saw.I got so embarrassed because I was on my period and I had pads in my purse. And then Fallon asked me "what did you have in your purse?" I said pads. And she laughed around because I'm 14 and shes 13 and she hasn't started yet. When we got to our 8th period class. She was joking around to Ana about what happened. And a guy named John overheard it and is probably going to tell everyone. This IS NOT a joke. Please help me!

Good heavens, you'll be carrying the things around with you for the next 30 years. It's no big deal. If they think it's funny, just laugh with them. There's nothing to be embarrased about. These are the same guys you'll be dating and sending to the store to buy you tampons. Just laugh it off. It's no fun teasing someone if they don't react. You're a woman now - it's ok.

he probably will but who cares. you are far from being the only one in school with pads in your purse. it may be funny among some of the men but that is because they are immature and don't have anything better to do. the women will not laugh because they are in the same boat as you. this is just a part of life, not a reason to feel bad, ashamed, or embarrassed. i would say that chances are he will probably forget about it, guys that age tend to be very forgetful but remember that even if he does, it is not the end of the world. just go on about your life. it is a normal thing. hope this helps. good luck.

Oh darling... Why should you feel embarassed about it. It's a normal thing to everyone... Eventhough not for your friends well maybe it's just they're not growin' up yet to knowing that things is a very2 common and an usual things to human specially to a girl that will growin' up as a woman. And actually, you should feel a lil bit proud of it. You're younger than your friends and you already got your period and that means your body is "improving' faster than her. I had ever got y period all over in my white school skirt and the guys seen it all, although i feel embarassed but, somehow i think that why should i... Trust me babe, that is really a normal things to happen. So, deal with it... act like you're a grown up girl. ^_^

I'm not sure what the embarressing part is? Maybe that you have your period. Trust me when you get older it will be your greatest excuse. heh. I wouldn't sweat it too much. At 13 guys are really immature and so anything to pick on a girl about is hilarious to them. Kick them in the nuts if they say anything, from what I hear its a fair comparison to what a girl's going through.

Oh you poor girl...CHILL...its ok...It happens to all of us girls
....I started when I was 12 and I was a very shy girl when I came to stuff like that..AND I told my sister Angie first and I thought she told my dad so when I walked in Living Room where my dad and siblings were I blurted out "Dad, I need some pads." And my sister Angie busted out laughing so that made my dad and everyone else laugh from shock because I was so shy about stuff like that. I was so embarrased!! I promise It will be alot easier as time goes by.

What's to be embarrassed about? Having a period is a perfectly natural thing - and every girl old enough to have a period has pads in her purse! And anybody who teases you about that is stupid - so relax, and don't worry about it!

No one has any right to look in someone's purse. And the next person who asks you, tell them it's not something you care to discuss. Whatever you THINK he saw is no big deal.

Not a big deal. Periods are a part of life. Not funny. If they think it is, they're immature.
