Absolutely LOVE them!!!!
I could never deal with roller-coasters due to motion sickness, but I loved the rush of adrenaline you get from shock or being scared. Horror movies do that for me... It is escapism at its best, you can watch & identify with some poor schmuck being chased by Jason Vorhees, they can come to a terrible end, and yet you know that they are ultimately alright and safe. (and collecting MORE money than me...)
Now, if I want REAL horror, I will just turn on the evening news.
