I think looks are important but better yet appropriate. In other words over dressing and focusing on just physical beauty is wrong. If you can at least try to get a glimpse of how a person thinks and operates his or her daily routine it may help form a complete picture of the person you are meeting. Some people are content with remaining simple and living a basic existence while others continue to changes their lives and advance and recede accordingly. Most of us are victims of habit and those habits have an impact on our personality. If I were in the market for a mate I would look at her daily patterns and continue from there. If her road isn't even close to my mine I wouldn't even begin to engage in a relationship. So looks are important but even more important is the direction in which each person is traveling in. Right now I am frozen in a cryogenic capsule waiting for the alarm to sound another reason to go outside.

No, the only thing that I require as far as looks are concerned is that the person has good hygiene and wears clean clothes. If looks are all that matters to a person they will miss the opportunity of meeting other people that could truly be a good friend or the opportunity even of the chance of meeting their soul mate.

To a degree.. Looks really do matter..but as time goes by.. looks are not the most important thing.

as long as you are at least a 4 on a 1 to 10 scale...then looks don't matter to me.

To a point yes. I admit that I would never date a really ugly person, but average looking guys tend to have a better personality.

Not really. I've learned as I get older, that looks will only get you so far. I go for personality and sense of humor. Which means I have dated some unattractive guys, but I have had fun, so who cares!

I have to find them attractive, but chicks don't necessarily have to be attractive for me to find them that way. I'm more into their style, their aura, the way they carry themselves, if you can understand what I just wrote. I've found women who others thought were ugly to be beautiful.
