I propose this as a great way to dispose of annoying pests - would he be a good replacement for uranium ?

Sorry, but if he is dense, then he is probably not very active, either radio- or physically.

However, I could use a new paperweight. Does he eat much?

Sorry, unless he's also extreamly radioactive he's not weapons grade material. He may be usefull as tank shells though LOL
