stamp collection sites?

i collect stamps occassionally and need some guidance on the type of stamps , first day covers etc for all countries.. which are the good sites which provide this guidance

If you want a site where there are knowledgeable members that can offer you guidance, then I can recommend stamporama:

There is a forum where you can ask questions without signing up. If you want to participate in other things like swapping and auctions, then signing up is free.

Another site I have found helpful is the virtual stamp club:

Click on the "message board". You need to sign up (again it's free) before you can post.
