Hardly anyone in this world, including liberals, is *for* abortion. What they are for is the right for a mother to be the one to make the final call in such a difficult situation. Also, liberals aren't all identical paper-dolls of each other. Some protest at abortion clinics. Some protest unneccessary testing on animals. Some protest invading countries on false pretenses. Me, I hate abortions, vote pro-choice, adopt my pets from public shelters, and rarely eat meat. But I'm just me. Learn to see individuals instead of just political parties.

How do you know that some of the people who protested at abortion clinics weren't liberals? How do you know that some of the people who "protested at labs where they test drugs on animals."

Are you saying that animals and aborted babies are on the same level of social conscience? Because if you are, then you're just wrong. Animal rights are one thing - trying to prevent cruelty and torture to animals is different than abortion rights, which is trying to safeguard the right to choose. Animals don't have any right to choose and they need advocates. Pregnant women DO have a right to choose. The fact that a woman is pregnant, does not give a society the right to take away her individual right to make her own medical and life choices.

You will probably say that the unborn baby needs an advocate, too. OK, that's the church. And the art of persuasion. A religious agenda can NOT be forced on people without deteriorating consequences.

Since liberals are anti-religious, they will anything to oppose all that is holy! For example: "take out the word "under God" in the pledge, yes for gay's marriage, yes for abortion, yes for stem cell research... but sometime they have to do some thing to look good: a picture of lovely dogs will buy them credits! IF you don't believe in abortions... then don't have one! But, if you are so passionately against abortions, go and adopt a few kids from those awful orphanages and then talk all the trash you want! And while you're at it, also encourage all of your friends and relatives to adopt a few kids, too... but do it here in America, not from some foreign country. Adopting an unwanted child is not like going to the local animal shelter and adopting a pet!

I do NOT believe in abortions but that does NOT give me the right to tell someone else what to do, how to conduct their private matters or to conform to my morals. That is something that you might consider doing, unless you're adopting a half dozen of wanted children from orphanages, who would otherwise be abused and/or neglected, or yet another mouth to feed for some poor unwed mother who will have to do far more with less, and given the conditions of so-called affordable housing (neglected slums in the ghettos)... go figure!

An alternative to abortions is to have those who oppose abortions to adopt a few unwanted children... how many of you are adopting 6 or more unwanted children?
