If you want "touristy" places:
The Space Needle
Pike Place Market
Underground Seattle
Mt. Rainier (although it will likely still be closed due to flood damage)
Mt. St. Helens

If you want more "authentic" places:
Take a ferry to the San Juan Islands
Drive across Deception pass to Whidbey Island, down the island and take a ferry to Pt. Townsend before driving back to Seattle.
Take a drive around the Olympic Peninsula including a stop in the Hoh Rain Forest and a walk along the Pacific Ocean beaches.

Check out these websites:

Enjoy your trip! It's a beautiful place!

-The Experience Music Project is a must. Even if you're not a music fan, the physical building is insane! Google the EMP to see the building. It's like a bowl of jello!

-Eat in Chinatown

-Visit the Space Needle

-Take a trip to Mt St Helens if you like history

-Walk around downtown

-Pike Place Market

-See a westcoast beach!! Try Matthews' Beach

-Eat westcoast seafood!! Try Ivars if you like clam chowder

-If you have time for a day trip (day-long), this will be one of the funnest things you will ever do, if not THE funnest, I promise!!:
Take a ferry to Port Townsend (Seqium, to be exact. Pronounce it Skwim), and go to The Olympic Game Farm. Google it for a exact map of where it is before you go, of course, but there will be signs. The Olympic Game Farm is this awesome place where you drive through this tour (self-guided) in your car. At the start, you buy a loaf of stale bread, and you give pieces of the bread to the animals as you pass. Bison and Yaks and Llamas and Zebras will all come straight up to your car (perfectly safe), stick their heads in your windows, and stick their tongues out for bread!! It is an insanely fun thing to do with some friends in the car... The ferry ride (short) is fun too! DON'T MISS IT, if you can take a day to do it! It doesn't sound too appealing, but you will never forget it!

All of these are great answers! They forgot one thing though. Go to Alki Beach at sunset! You can see the sun setting on the city. Rain or shine it is beautiful. The Thai at Alki restaurant is awesome as well. Also, ocean shores is a cool place to go if you are spending some time here.

The most favorite place of mine is the Space Needle. There is also a park surroinding it with goods, and be sure to ride it!
