As education levels rise for women, they have fewer children and they are better able to care for their families. Studies have shown that in Third World nations--as the educational level of women increased--so did the health and well-being of the family...which then contributed to the stability and security of the nation as a whole.
In the US, we take education for granted. We [many people] do not appreciate the value of education and how knowledge affects our everyday lives and decisions.

You may not be ready to think about having children--or how you affect the future of your country...but it is all tied together. I can tell you that for every year of college you attend, your life-time earnings will increase drastically in comparison to what you would earn with only a high school education...but I am sure you have heard that before.

You need to take a serious look at your life and determine what you want the next 5 years to look like. Where do you want to be in 10 years? 20? When you are old and tired--what kind of memories do you want to have? What legacy do you want to leave? What opportunities do you want your children to have?

Once you have considered these things...talk to women who did not go to college. Ask them about their decisions and opportunities.

It is a tough decision to make-especially when you are young and do not have a clear idea or experience of the world outside your city or town or country. Another thing to consider--the world is changing fast--will you be able to keep up with it if you do not continue your education? or will you be left behind?

Without an advanced education you will never earn enough to save for retirement.

Just ask me. I am now 65 and see people our age everyday with no savings. Even when you are old it will take money to live. If you do not get an advanced education and work a GOOD job, you will not have enough savings by 65 to 70 to support yourself.

Without an advanced degree you will earn about 1/2 of what you would with a college degree. So live and learn with a purpose, your future, not just what you can have in the present.

I beg of you, pay attention, the older you get the faster the years go. You really have a limited time to prepare for the future.

Good Luck.

I think the bible is far more important then any college education. the bible can teach you tons of things. in college you go for years and years and you can not even get a job. people are not hiring. either you have to much education from college or you do not have enough. so I think I rather stay with the bible and close to Jehovah God and Jesus Christ. they know what is best for us

To become truly informed about the world, to be able to process and understand that information to find the truth and discard the lies. To help make the world better for the next generation. If you ask people what they have contributed to this world, there aren't many who can say they've truly helped make it better, but I want to be one of those people.
